As an American lawyer, Mr. Kim is specialized in patent and trademark application registration, patent nullity trial and suit, application for an objection against trade mark, licensing of intellectual property, patent appraisal and consulting work of intellectual property.
He also shows specialties in patents related to machines, electric electronics, and business methods.
Having studied Mechanical Engineering at the Chung-Ang University and worked as an engineer and manager for Hyundai International Service, he absolved the law schools of Handong and George Washington University before he worked for an American law firm as a patent lawyer. 
 
He established Novick, Kim & Lee, PLLC which he runs presently.
